HolteCommit buddy. You gotta commit. Every single one of us has had this problem.
Start small - like 5-10 foot airs, and not too kicky. Visualize the trick. Pop with your shoulders, not your hips, and remember the basics: pop, set, land. Emphasis on the pop.
If you don't land, hike the jump. Hike the jump until you get it. Spending 10 minutes on a chairlift between attempts is not a good way to learn a trick.
AveragePeteIts important that your setting the trick just before the end of the takeoff. When your kicking off your gonna wanna start turning your shoulders while on the jump and then explode. Think of it as a fluid 360 motion rather than stopping yourself at 180 as well.
Park_RangerThis. Wind up a little bit before you get to the lip of the jump, creating the momentum that will set the spin. Pop hard off the lip, and carry that momentum through your pop. If you do this, you will be at 180 without even trying... from there, look over your lead shoulder and spot the landing. It will naturally come around if you don't fight the momentum you created.
As everyone has said, just commit and you will find that its a very easy and extremely fun trick!
WILLYWONKAYeah I understand. Thanks for all the tips!
SegsxiPractice 360 on flat surface first to get a feel of the motion, just start spinning around and around. Don't spin too much though you might get dizzy and vomit. After that add a little pop before executing your spin(very simple, just be sure you have good speed). When you pop and do the spin it will feel natural and you will build more confidence. This pop spin also helps with executing a clean transfer from sw to fs and vice versa.
Now take your pop and spin to a mellow roller you'll catch a little more air here but don't be alarmed just practice the same fluid motion you have been and you should be just fine. After the mellow roller try the motion off of a decent sized kicker. This is how I learned to do 360's it took me about 2 days to fully feel confident in doing one. Everybody has their own style and progression variations, this just happened to work well for Me and I figured it would work well for anyone else.
You should also try doing spread eagles, motions, and grabs on a straight air so you can become a little more "air aware".
On another note, you should stretch regularly, this will help your limbs be a little more loose and ready to execute a variety of motions whether is just ripping groomers, spreading butter in the pow, and popping off your skis, stretching always helps.

BigPurpleSkiSuitI always worry that my knees will separate on impact, how do I not tear my acls?
TRVP_ANGELyouve already done multiple backflips and survived, i think youll be fine for a 360...
BigPurpleSkiSuitTried a bunch of 3s of a poppy sidehit today. Consistently landed backseat and once straight at 270 where I just sat down and then stood up and skied off. I think I need to set my spin faster because I can never really spot my landing
