Hey guys, just having some issues with my new boots. I got a pair of last years full tilt b&e pros, and they felt great in the shop and the even feel great skiing in most situations. The problem is...
If I ski hard packed or ice too long, or nose butters, I get pain on my left heel outside, next to the Achilles. It's not Achilles pain but more of a bone spur feel. I had generic sidas footbeds with a medium arch and it didn't help. Then I got custom foot beds and it made it way better, but still not gone completely. Has anyone had this issue? I don't really feel any heel lift and the boots otherwise fit my feet great. Wondering if anyone has fixed it before I go to a fitter for any shell modifications.
Yes, I know it's hard to give boot fitting advice on the Internet and I've been to two boot fitters already, which is why I've included such a long read about it. Also if this is in the wrong forum my bad.
