Jesse_I posted about this in "post what's on your mind" (check page 1386 ish) about 3 months ago when the movie first came out...since at the time I guess I didn't think it was thread worthy? idk lol. What we came up was that Line, being a small company probably didn't feel like paying the required "product placement" endorsement money to showcase their brand in the film. So the team making the film just removed all branding from the ski so that they could legally use it in the film.
Actually, truth be told we had no idea they would be in the film. Super random but really cool to see. They choose wisely, the Blend is awesome. (haven't seen the movie, any good?)
Mildy relevant side story: We were on the Price is Right! haha! It's one of the only game shows who doesn't ask for $$ (just the gear donation) to be featured on the show, they just called us up, I guess someone was a fan. These type of weird out-of-industry media hits are funny and anecdotal but are just that for small brands, I don't think they really move the meter in sales. But if we could get Jerry Seinfeld to endorse our gear, that would be the shit. - josh
