This should be in regional forums. But if you're in Syracuse, Toggenburg / Labrador or Greek Peak in Cortland are pretty shotty local options but after skiing Togg a decent amount over the past 2 seasons you learn to make the best of it. They have some fun rail set ups on occasion. If there's a storm shoot up to Snow Ridge in Turin, NY. They get nuked with lake effect storm & the powder riding there is super fun, (cheap lift tix too).
Also, assuming you're a park rider.. don't forget about the countless urban spots in Syracuse.
