new hand rails

My school just installed a new set of handrails on some stairs that previously had none. The rails were just painted 4 days ago and wont slide without being waxed, if we wax em, will it come off, and will we chip the paint? we dont want to ruin the rails because they are at our school and we dont want to get in trouble

dont be a fag. just slide them. if you're that concerned buy some paint the same color and when you're all done you can paint them again. the paint will some off no matter what.

fuck that if you have an oppertuninty to slide a handrail do it. no one will even notice thers not like a handrail inspecter that goes around in the morning inspecting the handrails
