ON3P Kartel 108 questions

Hey bois,

So I know NS loves kartels just have a couple questions about them. I was thinking of getting custom stiffer Kartels
I ski whistler mountain and have been in search of the "Playful charger" never ridden a stock Kartel but im worried they might be too
soft. Would getting the stiffer carbon make them more stable, does it have any downsides? Im not throwing any tricks or buttering if it helps
Im also 5,10 and 145 lbs thinking of going for a 181

At 145, I would consider stock 181 plenty stiff

Consider the Wrenegade if you're worried about the Kartels being a bit too soft. I'm currently using the 98 Wrenegade as my daily driver back East and it has killed it so far. Very stable but ON3P's rocker/surfy feel allows for a certain degree of playfulness too. I figure the 108 Wren would be a good ski for you since you're from Whistler. Might as well consider a slightly more directional ski if you aren't buttering much, etc.

not answering your question, but maybe look into the armada invictus (?) from what i've heard they sound like what you're looking for i think

Hey Jake - as we talked about on the phone - you won't have any issues with the flex at 145lbs. No reason to go stiffer. Hope that helps.

All good dude. Seriously - if you get the stock and find them too soft, send em back and we can get a stiff pair going. Really just think at your weight that you won't need the extra stiffness (plus $125 USD in cost + 4 week build time) to go with the custom.

I actually have the 98s but they’re pretty stiff, especially if you’re only 145 lb. I rip through the trees on emerald and the stuff on peak to creek on them tho

Do you think I could go for a 186, would that be overkill? Im only 16 too so that might be a better option?

im like 5'10"-6'(not too sure lol) and my 181s work well for park and all mountain

i'm 5'10 and between 150-160 pounds and i have the 186 Kartel 106. absolutely love them. just seem a tad bit long for true park riding

Ik u talked to Scott but you'll be good dude. I have the K108 in a 181 and am 5"10 160 pounds and they r not too soft or stiff
