So yeah long story short had a job lined up in mayrhofen to do a season there but had no accommodation so couldn't take it. Im now looking to do a ski season in Austria mainly focusing on park and little on backcountry too. Where would you guys suggest to go? Have any of you guys done a season in Austria and got any tipps for finding work and accom?

Never been to Austria, but I love Vienna sausages and have always wanted to ski in Lech.

Anywhere in Arlberg should be solid. I wanted to go there but chose Espace killy instead since there's more accommodation avaible.
Also, it's way too late to find a job anywhere unless you get super lucky.

I can't speak to the details of work and accommodations, but Innsbruck really has it all. It's kind of like the Salt Lake of Europe, where you have access to a small city along with a ton of skiing options. I spent a semester there as a student, and you can get to everything from super fun parks to pretty big mountains on public transport, with even more if you have access to a car.
PM me if you want some more detailed info about Innsbruck, I can give you good info about passes and transportation. I don't know a ton about the skiing outside of Tirol, so maybe somebody else can convince you to visit a different part of the country.
