Searching for Pow/Groomers skis - Line Blend?

If you're set on LINE skis I would go with the Mordecai.
It looks like you're looking for powder and freeski performance more than park performance, but you still want a playful ski.
The Blend is really soft and makes a great park ski, but I think with your height it isn't going to do you any favors outside the park where you will be spending most of your time. The SFB and Mordecai are both very playful due to being almost symmetrical but I think you'll appreciate the extra size and support on the rest of the mountain, especially considering you might be gaining weight over the next few years.

Okay, thanks for the quick response. But does the Mordecai also have good performance on groomers for days without powder?
And about gaining weight, I´m "already" 18, so who knows, haha.

If you stay 150# at 6" for life I would be shocked. The Blend might not be too soft for you considering your weight, but I don't think it has any rocker to help you in powder.

I don't have firsthand experience with the Mordecai on groomers, but I have extensive experience with the last generation SFB on groomers which is somewhere in between the current SFB and Mordecai in terms of width and stiffness. Any of these skis can hold their own on groomers, but honestly if you're going to be on groomers a substantial part of the time they aren't my favorites. If you're going to be doing a lot of jibbing on natural features that's another story, in that case these are go-to skis, but if you want performance while carving, straightlining, or resort cruising I don't think they do you any favors.

What you're really asking for here is a one ski quiver that can take you all over the mountain and also into the park sometimes.
I would look for something between 90 and 110 waist, some rocker at least in the tips, mounted point between -2 and -6cm, and full twin tail if you're serious about taking them in the park. SBF fits this description, but for your style of riding I would also consider some skis outside of the LINE brand like the ON3P Cartel, Rossi Blackops, etc.

I suggest this on a whole lot of threads, but you should check out the Salomon Rocker2 100. It’s playful and has quite a bit of rocker for powder. It still has camber that is good on groomers and holds it own in the park. Check it out maybe you will like it, I sure do.

ive tried my blends out a couple of time in some pow and they're pretty bad. im similar weight and height. i felt that they just didnt have good support due to how soft they are.

Def read the Blister Gear Reviews because they reviewed these skis in several lengths separately, and they also reviewed several different years separately. From their review it also looks like this years models might be a little stiffer than last years, not quite sure about that, so you should definitely look at all these reviews and know exactly what you're getting.
That said, I would go big. The mount being close to center (-2cm I think) makes them ski quite short. I'm 5'10", 170# and ski the 184. I think 184 would make a lot of sense for you, if you're a hard charger there is a 190 (SFB) and 193 (Mordecai) although I could see them being hard to manage in the park.

the blend may be a little soft on groomers but are super fun in the park, that being said i'd probably suggest something a little stiffer cause it will be more well rounded, consider these as well; the k2 marksman, faction chaper 106, sir francis bacon (similar flex to blend), rocker2 100 and 108, arv 106, kartel 98 or 108, faction prodigy 2 or 3, 4frnt vandal or devestator....... i realize these arre a lot of option but these are more well rounded skis, my personal favorites are probably the prodigy or the devestator although theyre kinda on the heavy side

Dylan siggers prooved in the burrrlapz movie that you can deffiinently ski blends in the deep stuff, if your going to be doing park at all I'd get blends but if not the sfb or mordecai kick ass. I have the mordecai and they bomb groomers no prob

The Blend in 185 would be fine but I'd prob go with the SFB in 184 or the Mordecai in 186 for what you want to do. Obviously the SFB will be a little better on groomers but the Mordecai will be fine too (just don't expect a carver). All three are really fun skis, so you can't really go wrong anyway.

But if you're from Switzerland, why not check the Movement Fly 105? Or the DOWN Throwdown 105. Or Faction CT 2.0.

Am I wrong or did the 193 Mordecai get a stiffness boost for this season? Just thought I heard somewhere the 193 Mord is sort of like a billy goat now and the 186s are more like a kartel 116 in terms of flex.

I second this. Dwishes are pretty much on the money for what you're looking for. Also the Icelantic Nomad 115s would be pretty dope too. Kartel 108s/116s, Sego Tater Tots/Sloppy Joes, and Amplid Multiplayers are all worth a look as well.
