what are your guy’s opinions on using boots that have been previously worn?

Friends always bought, sold, traded boots with each other. If you're getting a deal fuck it, send her.
On the one hand you might already have that boot stank, but I've worn rentals before and I didn't die. Actually took a few pairs of nordicas when we were upgrading our rental gear at one mountain. If theyre molded to somebodies feet they're molded to somebodies feet, but if they fit you alright and the price is good, I don't see the problem.
Probably throw some powder in them so your toes don't fall off though.

Just pull out the liners, take out the insoles and fill up a large sink/wash basin with cold water and some laundry detergent. Let the liners and insoles soak in the water for about 20 minutes moving them around a bit to mimick a washing machine. Rinse them off with cold water and hang up to air dry.
Put them back in the boot shells when completely dry.
Don’t use a washing machine or dryer as that can cause issues.
Enjoy your non stinky boots!
