all true nsers no the trick, whenever you make a tgr acc you gotta put (NS) on the side just to know who the homies are.
The rest are 60 yr old ex race skiers

ns has a much better ui for sure, better members too. most of the tgr threads are multiple pages and I would imagine it would be really hard to jump in as a new member and become familiar with the community.

Eh, NS and TGR are 2 different crowds.

Tgr is like the older, more mature crowd that is focused more on freeskiing/pow/backcountry, which is nice but there isn't as many users thus it is slightly less active. Tgr also includes mtb and a few other topics. Not to forget the Padded Room if you are ever bored lol.

Newschoolers has more users but I feel it is more park minded riders. I also can't stand the younger crowd sometimes on here. People asking what others thoughts are on Supreme jackets and why snow is sticking to the bottom of their skis.

Oh for sure. Supreme pisses me right off can you believe kids are dropping thousands of $ on clothes. However Im more of a freeskier kinda back country guy and I just find NS so easy to use, TGR is just so confusing

There are far far far far more people on tgr. I would also say the majority of NS'ers that actually contribute care more about pow now a days than park. It has seemed to be shifting that way for quite some time. At least to me. Also I'm like 90% sure the threads you are talking about are trolls.

TGR has a kick ass tech talk room and an awesome gear swap. That's mostly what I use it for. Stuff moves way faster than on NS and there is a ton of deeper info on ski gear it seams. It seems hard to me to actually be able to get into the culture in the other sections though.

The one thing that does help to use tgr is to just download the mobile app as it uses tapatalk as their forum program. It's a bit more organized than the website
