whats up guys, so i bought some p 10 lifters and fujis on sunday and left them at the shop with my boots till wednesday(today) because thats when the tech comes. i call them today and ask if their ready to be picked up and they said that i needed a wide break for them. i asked them to bend the brake a little but they said they couldnt cuz the lifter or somethin gets in the way and it wasnt possible. has this happened to you??? or do they not know what their doin. thanks

they don't know what they're doing.
plain and simple. with the fujatives it's probably so close that you could probably just pull it out by hand and get enough.

totally don't need a wide brake for any ski. I bent a narrow salomon brake around my 97mm waist Moship Ti. Tell them to pull out slightly and slide it on and then do the actual bending once its on the track. If they won't then do it yourself it's not hard you just have to be gentle at first but once it's on you can apply more pressure.

I mounted a set of power 120s ( p12 w/lifter) on a set of fujatives last year and yeah you can just bend the brakes out by hand or slap them in a vice real quick and its a little easier. Sometimes they just want you to sign a piece of paper though saying you gave them permission to bend them incase they break or anything, which is probably the reason they didnt want to mount them.
