Is Henrick Harlaut the most well rounded skier this earth has ever seen??

In my opinion, dollo is the best skier around. Year after year, he drops street edits with bdog, showcasing his style and trick creativity. Then, in films such as BE inspired, he shows his ability to send it in the backcountry. He does dubs off of backcountry booters like no ones business, still managing to showcase his steeze. Before you know it, the mans winning dew tour. He can throw tricks just as big as someone like goepper, but adds a creative twist that makes him stand out among the comp scene. No matter where he skis, henrick is dominant. And to the looks of it, he isn't slowing down. His love for the sport and life is contagious, he is exactly what the ski community needs.

You understand that Dollo is one of the best park skiers in the world and while doing so isn't training with a coach and skiing the best jumps like all the other guys. Dollo skis street and still competes with the worlds best. While filming Be inspired which is one of the best urban/ street movies he was simultaneously competing, as he was doing both at the same time.
When candide was competing I imagine he wasn't filming street. Just wait when Dollo stops competing and is just focusing on filming hes gonna make everyone look bad.
People saying he can't ski big mountain... When your that good at skiing you can do anything you want especially with the amount of motivation he has. After hes done competing he will be tearing up big mountain lines like it's nobody's business.
He's only 26 years old. Candide is 35 and Last Olympics would have been around 31. By the time Dollo is 31 I can't imagine hat he will have done from now.
Look what he had done in the past 5 years. 5 years from now he will on a another level.

SofaKingSickWell sure he can't today but he's just past that part of his career. He was a monster in the park dude, he was one of the first batch of truly stylish park skiers (almost 20 years ago!!), invented tricks like cork 810 to rail, he did that nutty shit on the giant hip at superpark 2002, he won a bunch of x games medals and changed pipe skiing with CR, and tons of other stuff, like tons. Then he got hurt and then blew everyone away by destroying big mtn skiing after an already insane career

Dang I never knew this stuff. That's sick though

yeah man, candide's ski history is just unreal. shots of him doing stylish as hell spins and flips and tail grabs in 1999 were the first thing that made me fall in love with skiing. it's just mindblowing that he's still a top dog nowadays. im always happy to talk about candide! haha

i sure hope so. i was confused/disappointed that jon olsson never went big into big mtn, he couldve been insane at it

While it definitely takes some serious stones to ski street, and he's easily one of the most creative park skiers we've seen in ages, I don't think those skills translate into the ability to ski big mountain. I'm not sure what kind of background in skiing Dollo has, but Candide's years of racing and bump skiing have provided the foundation necessary to destroy the entire mountain.

I'm not saying Dollo is a bad skier or doesn't have skills, I'm just not sure the foundation is there. If you put 26 year old Candide and 26 year old Dollo on the top of any mountain (big mountain or resort), Candide will go faster and bigger and with more control every time. Dollo might be more creative, but again, that doesn't always translate into the ability to ski the entire mountain.

EVERY SINGLE pro skier...whether it be a street focused skier, park skier, obviously freeride and big mtn skier...has incredible ski skills they only highlight what they want in their videos. Anyone who thinks Edollo cant rip the shit out of a big mountain lie is an idiot. Maybe not as good as some of the other pro's doing it..but i'd put my money on him over some keyboard warrior on NS any day.

Olsson did go into some big mountain, check his Seven Sunny Days Seg (link down there) but yeah always surprised he didn't go into it more

David Lesh is the most well rounded skier. Who else moves bricks of coke, owns a huge outerwear brand, rides a fucking camel, and still consistently gets dislikes because hes a sellout and posts gay ads on ns. Actually now that I think about it maybe he isnt the best

This thread and NS in general tends to exclude a lot of of big mountain specific athletes (i.e. Kai Petersen, Logan Pehota, etc.) while it may look like Henrik has line skiing ability compared to people like Geopper, Oysten, or other comp jocks, he's pretty bad if you put him up against actual big mountain skiers. Also doing a dub ten off of a big BC booter dosen't make you a good BC skier it just means you can do the same tricks in a comp in a different environment (which shows mastery of the trick). Also not hating on Henrik by any mean's dude still rips it and ultimately who cares who people think is the best or most well rounded, if you enjoy watching a certain person ski in a certain way and want to believe that they are the best because of that go for it.

To think he can't slay park or street just because you're not seeing him do it is crazy talk. He's for sure one of the best all-round skiers right now.

It's really hard to compare "the best skier" because skiing is divided into different sub groups and certain people specialize in different things. So you could say most well-rounded skier, but there are different different bests in each subgroup. It just so happens that some people can be best in two of the different subgroups.
Harlaut throws down in every competition I've seen him in. If you were due to her this year you can see that he was having a freaking blast and also putting down amazing high-scoring lines. Wearing the hat with the little puffballs(Whats that called) under his helmet really gave him a sense of "I don't give give a fuck but I'm still better than the people that do". I think he is one of the best attitudes in skiing. He doesn't take himself too seriously and has a freaking blast

Sammy used to medal in the X Games. He can rip anywhere. And the fact he is a local here in Oregon makes him my favorite skier

We talking well rounded skier or feel rounded park skier cause all the arguments I'm hearing for henrik are about how he can jib AND hit jumps none about how he can actually ski. Booby Brown can spread backcountry ex. Be Water and is an olympic park skier
