so im hiking almost everything. i ski urban rails, homemade parks, and backyard setups. I've searched for a slim, surfy, light, durable ski and found out that every ski company i know doesn't make one. If there isn't one out there ill make one my self. Basically looking for a line blend cut in half.
I ski/ride PA so I'm no stranger to the ice coast. I like my Line Tigersnakes and feel like they're about what you're describing but then again I'm definitely not on your level with skiing so I could be talking out of my ass. Have you checked out 4frnt? I follow them on Facebook and they make a couple models that sound like they'd be up your alley. Super affordable and American made too...
the best east coast ski is going to be mostly camber/full camber so the ice doesn't fuck you over but everyone loves a little (or alot) of rocker. 4FRNT has the switchblade which is full camber and breaks in super nicely so its pretty fucking soft and buttery. The whip-its match your desription of a line blend cut in half though. imo both are unreasonably soft
You could also check out Gilson skis. They're new to the ski game, but I've been riding their boards for awhile and I'm pretty stoked on them. They're pretty unconventional, but I know their boards have nice pop and excellent butterability and never hook an edge. That's kinda their whole approach to boards/skis, the special edges and flex zones. Could be worth a glance....
The Line Honey Badger is a good example of a more nimble Blend. It essentially fills that more park specific gap as the Chronic / Wallisch / Tigersnake have stiffer flex patterns & different sidecut
