Best and Most Affordable Gimbal/Steadicam for DSLR?

Hey,
I was looking at getting a Steadicam or a gimbal so all my footage isn't shaky AF making my computer crash from rendering warp stabilizer. And who doesn't love a buttery smooth edit?
Any suggestions, recommendations or tips for something cheaper than a ronin? Possibly something like a Steadicam Solo??

When you say cheap, how cheap are you looking for? What is your budget that you can spend on a stabilizer?

whats your budget?
what camera/lens are you using?

My friend has a gh5 and uses the zhiyun crane v2, its price point is quite good but wont work well or at all for larger and heavier cameras.
If you're gonna go the glidecam stabilizer route I recommend not cheaping out on a knockoff, I got a cheap one off amazon at first and ended up wasting money.

I'm currently using a Nikon D850 that I got for cheap, and an 18mm to 24mm vr lens

You could get a glidecam like the hd2000 or the Devin graham signature if you wanted to spend a little more. Or you could get the zhiyun crane if you want a motorized gimbal. The crane is a great stabilizer, and lots of you tubers recommend it. I haven't tried it for skiing yet though.

I got a glidegear Dna 50-50 off ebay for like $150 and its almost exactly like the glidecam hd2000. Highly recommend. Also if you look hard enough you can find hella ronin m deals on ebay. The other day I saw one for like $675 but it sold in a few hours after posted.

I have never used this but Phillip Bloom says its a good budget motorized stabilizer. It all depends on your budget and how serious you are about stabilizers.

honestly i would just go the route of a glidecam hd-2000. You really dont need much moreif you are just lapping the park. just learn how to use it, and your shots will look great. and plus, you dont have to worry about batteries in the cold etc...

I'm using a Zhyinu Crane V2 and really like it. It definitely has its limitations and I think a glidecam may work better for park skiing..its just tough to get super quick pan ups and downs like you can with the glidecam...thats why I'm keeping my HD1000 as well, but honestly the gimbal opens up so many more options for dynamic shots...way easier to get consistently smooth shots than the glidecam IMO, happy with my purchase so far

just curious, what setup are you using on the crane? Really interested in getting one but worried the setup i'd use is too large/heavy

I'm using a GH4 with a rokinon 12mm mostly, ive used my 14-145 and 50mm on there as well.
