RparrI had jester pros for a while which went up to 18 din. But I kept them on like 8.5. I just liked them because they had more metal parts than the regular jesters and I figured that they'd be less likely to blow up because of that
SofaKingSickthere are big mtn situations where there is basically no advantage to a ski coming off no matter what. and there are racers who are in the range, i mean what do you think they do, use 14 or lower dins and then jump straight to those crazy 20+ DIN race pro bindings? or do you think the top ski racers are also all just puffing their chest when they run crazy high DINs?
obviously like everything in skiing people overdo it and many are delusional about things but claiming literally no one on earth needs a din of more than 15 is pretty naive haha
21CABBAGE160lbs and 6ft riding 18's rn. overkill, but they were $200, so I had to do it...
Lenny-Because they dont make black p15s this is the only option for this ski. There isnt any other binding that would work on the ski. P18s were necessary.
ReturnToMonkeyGood deals and color ways are the only valid excuses. But why are your beadworks so short? Or is it an optical illusion?
ecsm.gripwalk soles are trash.
Lenny-They're short, 183.
Pablo_SanchezCrotched mountains jump line is insane for this time of year, their park crew really stepped it up

I don’t think this website gives enough credit to how fucked and gnarly racing is at the top level
A ski coming off unexpectedly could literally kill you
ReturnToMonkeyAll metal used to be a valid excuse but now the 15 is all metal.
Racers are the last discipline to need cranked dins lol I think it's a dick size contest for their din. Most racers I've spoken to who's opinions I respect agree with me. Find me one person who weighs 300+ lbs and is tall and rips hard enough to warrant bigger than 14 din. I'll change my opinion but good luck.

skiermanBullshit. Skis come off every year and its been decades since someone died.
Brule. It’s 2024 and there’s no excuse as to why North American ski resorts should be taking notes from Europe in terms of having a no fucks given free-for-all in the lift line. Sick of the tourists complaining about their equipment being trampled on while they’re on their precious ski vacation.
r00kieI have no idea what argument you are trying to make but nothing makes me think more highly of a mountains management like well organized lift lines.
nCrowThe word legend is being thrown around a little too loosely to describe Lupe

Christian_BaleSome thoughts on ABDs since I've been hearing more talk about this lately (ski.police for example lol.) Maybe i haven't skied street enough but I don't fully understand the hate. Basically I think people should have a reasonable knowledge of who has hit what spots. But I don't feel like just because someone's hit something before you shouldn't hit it. If it's a classic spot then it could be seen as tribute, if you intend it that way. If your trick isn't as good as what's been done before then you're not taking anything away from the first person. If you can one-up them, that's also sick. Maybe my logic is fucked but I don't really get it. I see people making comments about Keegan hitting two spots that have been hit once to my knowledge and yet that quebec ledge has been skied to death and a ton of respectable street skiers keep on hitting it, and I see way less comments about that.
Farmville420I do think people genuinely hate on forre tho
Christian_BaleI like forre but some of these comments are justified. I paid for their video and thoroughly enjoyed it, but considering that they've established themselves as one of the best street crews and that they release their video for $, they should dig out their spots a bit more. It looks like they got a ton of snow and probably ice too, so I imagine it's a pain in the ass. That being said, I think they got a big enough crew to do a better job and at least make sure you can somewhat see the stairs. To be clear, I wouldn't give a shit if it were an up-and-coming crew. I just think skiers of their caliber can go the extra mile and make the spots more proper. But at the end of the day, they can do what they want.
cali_invaderThey should make a new print run of Squallywood.

profa_212I can't keep up with vishnu or misfit or 1000 or any of the other "new" companies drama or models or who is riding for them this week and why......and I honestly could care less. It's mad annoying and I feel like every week something changes.
Old man yells at cloud. More at 6.

Lenny-I feel like Vishnu items has been lacking these past few months because anything good gets sold at yomi.
The umbrella thing was also disappointing because the rest of the preorder items were lacking their typical usefulness.
Also giving YS a promodel is a bit much.
None of this really matters Wet&Wide are my favorite skis, the price is fair, and they have good topsheets, its just a bit disappointing. I hope the yomi in store thing chills out soon. Also DManley or billsfan801 promodel would've hit different.
Lenny-Nothing big has really changed with any of them.
Vishnu started selling stuff at a couple stores in SLC limiting whats sold online and added a YungSnow promodel because Emmett likes drainer cowboys.
Nothing has changed with 1000 still very red and expensive.
Misfits is onto their second season, xanman bought a pair and mounted his pair wrong 5 times in a row and is now feeling more mad and entitled than ever.
Jetskis still wont provide order confirmations or tracking.

VISHNUDamn, it's rare that internet comments really get under my skin but this one got me. My usual thrift spots for 1/1 items have been dry as a bone in the last year or so, but I tried to supplement that with higher level general release items like the KH fleece and multi color screen prints while showing the process of making things more.
To hear that your pre-order items were disappointing is truly devastating tbh, I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry and that I will step it up.
Max (young snow) is ahead of his time in many ways and has been since I met him. His skis sold well.
I bought a safe with a timer on it to put my phone in when i need to, I'm going to go do that now.
Great shame, but I will rise from the ashes a beautiful phoenix with as many 1/1 items as I can find in the depths of the salt lake thrift.
FUCK
Lenny-Was hoping you didnt read this thread, sorry to get under your skin. Ill repeat, none of this really matters, the skis are really fun and the topsheets are the best in the industry, extras dont really factor into me preordering atleast one pair of wets every spring.
The thrifted stuff is big, some of my favorite clothes are stuff you've thrifted so having that back would make me pretty happy.
Comparisism is the thief of joy and hits hard with extras sometimes. Last year the ice scraper, tootherbrush and coaster was really good lol. My dad was telling me a few days ago how useful the vishnu travel toothbrush I gave him is and my V coaster still sits on my desk collecting condensation. It had me thinking about how much I've used this years extras. I wouldnt say dissapointing just not as useful, everything included was nice, and eventually the art will find a place.
Max is valid, just a bit much for me. Dmanley pro model wouldve made me happier but it doesnt matter. Glad his stuff sold well.
The important thing is the skis are really fun, everything else is just accoutrements.
VISHNUI spent last the 24 hours in complete darkness and silence in the company of a team of high level Amazonian shamans and have come to the conclusion that some "negative" comments hurt my feelings because I know deep down elements of them are the truth. The truth hurts, and can sometimes make me feel like a failure.
That feeling of perceived failure motivates me to try even harder and be even better. So really, are the negative comments actually positive comments considering the outcome will most likely lead to overall improvement?
Hard to say for sure, but I can't talk about it any more because I have to put my phone back in the safe now.
muffMan.You can hate vail as a company, but there’s no denying as a mountain it’s fantastic.
BradFiAusNzCoCaHitting vail late January and stoked. First time since I was 5.
Speaking of vail resorts, I’ve been enjoying the hell out of keystone once I get away from the main runs with the out of control tourist.
CoolChillGuy420im grateful for the opportunity of applying for proform still but some of you brands need to chill the fuck out, dude. Get your Marketing Departments in check, bro
