dildotester69why did ppl down like my post? Andri can do a quad cork, Henrik cannot. I don’t know why everyone says he has sick style and is king when Andri and Nick Goepper are better than him.
P.S. I think Gus is really doing a great thing for skiing. He’s giving our sport publicity but also showing that skiers have a sensitive side to them. Gus also has way better style than Henrik and is more creative.
Alvarobeing a pro skier or surfer is pretty kook, basically means you are in it for the money.

FIRATWhats wrong with the "jock mentality" in skiing?
.otto.have you ever been anywhere near a lax or football team of any sorts
FIRATCould you explain?
ColingarnesThey are douches?
PhreeKandiDespacito is the best song you can use in a ski edit.
voy10Pow skiing is incredibly boring to watch. Along with the kimbo sessions.
FIRATI think switch landings almost never look as good as normal landings. Switch take-offs look sick though.
MLBPark skiing is on a big downslide, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it hit bottom sooner then later. I think things like over-regulation by the FIS, mainstream contests, spin to win( more flip/quad to win), and major conglomerates buying core brands are what is going to kill it.
I feel like it’s going to look a lot like skateboarding in the early 90s/late 80s. There’s going to be a core group of riders/companies that are going to keep it going, but it’s going to look vastly different on he other side.

DIRTYBUBBLEI feel like this already happened in like 2013-2015 when the thug era was over, and new wave skiing wasn’t a thing yet. 2013-2015 was the worst era of park skiing imo.

VinnieFA downslide in terms of it being less 'core'? Since it's definitely become more and more popular and has never been as well known and popular as it is now. And is this really an issue? Like why care if more big companies are getting involved and more people want to ski park?

GrandThingsUnfortunately, I feel like this just isnt true
Shewlur...This. If anything, I've noticed a significant decline in involvement/engagement, numbers, and investment in freeskiing over the past 5-6 years.

Have you been on instagram? Have you been to a well known resort park? Hell, even smaller resorts have generally ramped up their parks over time. The sport is as big as it's ever been.
Y'all are sorely out of touch with the sport if you think it's going downhill (pun intended). The bifurcation between core and corporate is just becoming more apparent as time progresses, look at any other action sport and how it does the same thing. No need to go lose your heads over it. Skiing's just fine and will continue to be until climate change really screws everything up but that's neither here nor there as far as this topic goes
CharlzHubI have way more respect for skiers who wear helmets when skiing urban than people who don’t wear helmets when they ski urban. You can still be steezy with a helmet and they stop you from dying. Urban is sketchy shit and nobody wears helmets. Stop showing off.
J_ChristophI honestly can't remember the last time I saw a helmet present in an urban shot...
Who did you see do this? Was it a Nick Martini shot from 2011?
CharlzHubLJ, Will Wesson, Khai Krepala, Magnus all have some sick urban shots with helmets and it doesn’t make them any less steezy.

QuaffPracticing your back flip/cork rotation before you drop will not improve your trick. It just makes you look like you have Parkinson's disease.
