Replying to Why do you love the east coast?

This has probably been said before but I've lived on the east coast all my life, trip out west maybe once every three years. Theres no question skiing on the east coast just should be worse, less snow, worse terrain, but I fucking love it. Something about rain and pure ice just makes me happy, I love those big pow days out west but it almost feels fake. I assumed most people on the east have this feeling, but I have friends who refuse to ski except on vacations out west. I guess if i had more money and choice i might be like that, but do you guys feel similarly? Why do you stay at it out here?
