It might be a little on the extreme side but I could see why it might be banned. It is coming to the point indecent exposure, and that's the argument that is being made. Let's go back to our Mill, please... if an action doesn't directly harm the liberty of anyone else, then government has no right to restrain the liberty of the people where that action is concerned. I think that applies here. It's a concern of taste, perhaps of prudence, but not of necessity. How about spending some time addressing the military-industrial complex problem that seems to be spinning out of control these days? Because if this is what representatives are spending their time arguing about, they're completely superfluous and should all be removed.

i agree with JD for once, this law is supperflous, and is a mockery of our civil liberties. i can see how pants blow ones butt can offend someone, but they are still covered. its not like you can see the kids buttcrack. plus, there are more important things to worry about.

In all reality, why are we wasting our time on this? It's frivolous, and while I can understand how rediculous pant sagging has become; it still is someone's right. If someone wants to dress like a fool, then by all means, let him.

I doubt this law will be strictly enforced nor will it change much. Jd nailed it, in that we should be tackeling the real issues and the source of alot of our problems - not these superficial things.
