Bio 5?

This season I'm challenging myself to learn every type of 5, cork, rodeo, misty, flat, bio. But is a bio 5 even possible? I feel like you'd have to at least go 7 to make it noticeable. Anyone have a video of a misty 5 vs. a bio 5?

re: bio 5s, meh, yeah bio 5 vs misty 5 is a needless distinction IMO. some nerds on here will def disagree tho

It's doable for sure but you'll most likely just end up throwing a misty 5.

Love the idea, I'd saw you gotta go to 7 to make the distinction. If you can make it a less "flippy" misty 5 it's probably a bio but quite a needless distinction. Just lay out and loft up those mistys dude. good luck!

I always considered a bio a less inverted Misty. But a lot of people make their bios look almost like rodeos so IDK.

yeah but a rodeo 5 looks way different than a rodeo 7 or whatever so it wouldn't be the same

Nerd here, they are distinct by the definition that seperates a cork from a d-spin. If it's flippy and your feet go over your head its a misty, if it's just a off axis forwards spin but not inverted then it's a bio. If it helps to visualize it OP, a bio five is the same movement as a switch cork five, just done while skiing forwards. And it'd definitely possible, they aren't hard to do on a tramp and somewhere there is a video of someone doing an insane and impossible looking bio 3

The closer at 2:17 I would say is about as close to bio 5 as I've seen. True, it's a 4 onto a rail and it's hard to distinguish whether it's a flat spin or a bio, but my personal take is it's more of a bio than a flat since he starts spinning before getting off axis whereas a flat spin is more flippy.
