Replying to Winter Is Coming (EastCoast)

Shit is about to get real on the East Coast. Not only will temps drop significantly (15-25 degrees below average) we will also be entering into a more active pattern for storms. Even if we miss on ALL the storms during the next few weeks it really looks like this cold has lasting power. I live in Northeastern PA and temps are expected to only be in the 20s with lows in the single digits next week and perhaps until Christmas-ish. This is a deep freeze that bodes well for a lot of snow making! I would expect resorts in PA to open December 15ish which would be great considering how bad its been the last few years. With the help of some storms resorts will be at or near 100% by Christmas. Finally a good December!
