Chubz.2011 was newschoolers peak.
chris.goodhuehonestly though, I got on newschoolers in like 2009 and there was a few years when it was seriously popping...everyone in all the parks in new england has NS stickers on their helmets
J_SSad I missed that. Wish ns could get back to normal
theabortionatorThere was a time in skiing where if you saw someone with twins you were instantly friends. That said there are a ton more people skiing now, and it's a major growth. It's not as small of a community, but there are a ton of people out there who shred who at least loosely follow NS.
Hoping the forums will pick back up once again though.
DingoSeanI remember specifically between like 2006 and 2008 when NS was just full of awesome content, threads, and also really good shittalking threads.
freestyler540I miss the NS Get Together sessions. Im sure it will boost activity again.
Mr.BishopWhich ones specifically are you talking about?
We have a whole event tour now and we've done a bazillion versions of Gatherings over the years.
freestyler540I attended the mt St Louis Moonstone back in 2008, when I lived in Owen Sound. There was a cool dual slopestyle contest at the same time.
Turn out was awesome. So many kids had NS stickers on their gear, but not too many were users. It was a time when NS trolls were quite active.
NS is completly unknown in the Kootenays. Id love to see more users in my area.
Mr.BishopOh fuck yeah, I think I remember that shit! Good times dude. If a Tell A Friend Tour stop comes near you, you should check it out. Even if you've aged up a bit, they're an absolute blast. Most of them I've been to have actually been cooler than what we used to do back in the day... But that does depend on who is there. :)
I'd love to be more known in the Kootenays. Lets figure it out.
