Hi all,
I spent some time trying to fix a problem with Booster power straps on my Full Tilt Booters (mondo 25.5), and thought I'd post my fix since it seems a lot of people have this problem. Basically, to get good power transmission, I found the Booster strap has to rest on the edge of the tongue. At the bottom of a run, the Booster strap would slip down near the top buckle and power transmission would go kaput. The only fix I've seen for this online is cutting the non-"Booster" labeled straps with a utility knife as suggested on the TGR forums. I tried this and it didn't work; the Booster-labeled strap would still slip down even though the back straps were in the right place. Instead, I just got some scrap grip tape from a local skate shop and put a narrow strip on the edge of the tongue so the strap can't slip down (see photos). Works perfectly.
