Blends already de-laminating

Skied twice on this years new line blends and the edges at both tips are already separating from the ski. A real piss off since there's a lot of hype about blends, plus they're kinda pricey.
Brought them back to squire johns where I got them and they're sending them to line to have a look and hopefully(probably) send a fresh pair back.
All I can say is I'm pissed as fuck and want a new pair stat because de-laming from under 12 hours of skiing a small ass park is bullshit.

Factory made skis always have some problems with delaming. Not every ski gets fucked but it definitely happens. Last szn I got K2 Domains and the tip exploded on my second day riding but luckily I got a new pair for free

Contrary to popular belief, I’ve had better luck with Line’s durability than any other brand, and few are harder on skis than myself.

Damn that's unfortunte. I've been out of the game for a while, but I've had a handful of Line Chronics and they were always bombproof for me.

Yeah it sucks, I bought a pair of liberty transfers like 3 years ago and the tips and tails all were delaminating after only 3 days on them. I sent them back and they gave me a fresh pair. I bet you that line will give you another pair or attempt to fix them cause it's a factory defect, still sucks though.

^ Liberty was great about replacing skis. Line is good from what I remember, too. Shouldn't be a problem. Just write a heartfelt letter saying you're a longtime Line buyer or some shit to ice the cake.

do you have pics? depending on severity when I have done this I will just epoxy em back together and keep going, not worth the down time without skis. but I also recognize that most of the damage i cause to skis is not manufacturer error and usually from me beating the piss out of them.

that's the way to go if the skis are older but this is a brand new pair. better to start fresh with a new pair while you still have the chance

Same thing happened to mine. First day on them without even hitting the park. So brutal. I ordered mine snd had them shipped to my in-laws in the US who in turn shipped them to me. I didn't bother doing anything about it.

solution : dont buy line blends its a noodle ski. line is similar to atomic and k2 in the fact they are owned by companies totally separated from skiing. k2 for example is owned by rubbermaid, i feel like rubber maid does not care about your skiing experience and are trying to produce skis with the cheapest materials that look good so they can make the most profit.

We demo lines where I work and even with retarded jerrys treating them like shit they all usually make it through the season. Compared to some othe big brands the lines do pretty aight.

Flawed logic here. They do care about your skiing because they want to sell more skis. Who cares who owns it?

Also, Line and K2 aren't owned by Rubbermaid anymore.

You only need to pick up a pair of line blends to know they're toys. They feel like absolute garbage and flex like a wannabe Armada Edollo.

Line skis is amazing to ride. but they don't last long at all. i think digging deeper into your wallet and buy some more quality skis like ON3P, Armada, MOMENT etc. and K2 skis are kinda bombproof, they are heavy but they last way longer than a pair of line skis.

It blows my mind when I see people say line’s have bad durability, or that’s what you get for buying lines. That sucks yours delamed, that is not normal, I’ve actually never delamed a line ski since the k2 merger like 8 years ago now. I’m 185 lbs and feel like I treat my skis on the harder side of the average person, have about 60 days on my blends from last year and aside from needing wax and the edges being super dull, are in perfect condition. The same goes for all my chronics that I ski. Full disclosure, yeah Ive snapped chronics, but never falling less than maybe 18 ft onto concrete or going 40 mph into a wall, never When any ski wouldn’t have. I can’t speak for all the skis made of course but it’s crazy how few problems I’ve personally had and how frequently I see people say that lines are known to break, maybe pre detuning your skis and learning to fall well have something to do with it or maybe I’ve gotten lucky, either way sorry to hear, hopefully it gets figured out, I’ve been skiing the blend quite a bit lately to despite being a diehard chronic guy, super fun ski for playing around

k2 skis are kinda bomb proof..... hahahahahah thats the funniest thing i have read all day, you can trip a k2 core with a screw driver.

i fully disagree i have broken 100% of k2 skis i have bought in a single season, i have never broken a line ski. in my personal experience line is a superiror product. im not goingto buy either but thats just my opinion

i have never been on a pair of poachers, k2s asymmetrical skis look like they would be fun. every pair of on3p i have owned have broken, last pair i broke on my second run snapped the tip off a third of the way up my ski and they wouldn't warranty it. never going back ton on3p

One of my Line SFBs de-lammed after 2 days, but that was because I caught my tips mid-backflip and faceplanted infront of what felt like 10,000 people lmao.
