Aggressive Inline as Summer Ski Training?

I've been watching videos of Inline Skating with the warm upcoming temperatures I'm considering getting a pair of skates. Was wondering if anyone ever used inline skates to practice rails during the warmer months of the year?

I've got a pair and let me tell you its way harder and also much scarier if you fall but I'm sure if you get over the hump of being a noob it could help a whole lot

Do it!!! Aggressive Inline is so kickass. One of the thing I've noticed on skates in order to stay stable dropping in, getting air, landing will all require stance thats essentially an exaggeration of the skiing stance. It might work similar muscles.
Overall though once you get low you start to get the flow!! Its some serious fun.. Might even transfer over into your skiing style.

I bought some a year or two ago for that reason and I think it works pretty well as ski practice. Definitely a very fun alternative to skiing in the summer. Buy yourself a skinnier PVC pipe or 2 and u can grind them just like you do on skis.

Id say do it but dont think of it as skiing practice, do it because it is fun.

got a new pair of boots in the mail today, havent gotten the chance to take them out for a rip yet. aggro inline is ridiculously fun, its super easy to get the hang of if you can slide rails on skis but a totally different beast once you start learning techy slides and stuff. spinning out of slides, especially on ledges feels completely different from skiing, but theres a huge amount of crossover still. buy a pair it its the shit

I reckon inline skates would be pretty sick if they were essentially a ski with wheels on them. So hitting rails would feel the same as skiing.
