ZypherDon't have one but for the sake of question, why gold? Color matching comes over function? Also some paint would do the trick over a black buckle.
Yes its been replaced already with a different color buckle, but some skiers skiers (this has nothing to do with sexes, have to be careful in this day and age) care a more about looks more than other skiers. So while you may be okay with five buckles that match and one that does not, there are some people not okay with that. And its that's the percentage of people who pay full rip for most things in the ski industry so you and I don't have to.
