Handmade Ski Workshop?

So I've been trying to do a project with my high school where I learn about/build a pair of handmade skis. I know some companies such as Community Skis actually have workshops where students can learn from ski builders and construct a pair themselves with the help of the company. Does anybody know of any companies in New England/the east coast that do this type of thing? I know Parlor Skis in Boston does some workshops, but after being in contact with them it turns out they won't be able to help me this Winter/Spring as they r super busy in the Winter. If anybody has any suggestions that would be much appreciated. I have been trying to contact some companies and get leads but have had no luck. I have already worked super hard to do as much research online as I can and have even applied for/received grant money for materials from my school. So if anybody is a part of or knows any East Coast/New England companies that could help me build a pair of skis that would be awesome. Thanks

i started researching and cad-ing up some prototypes last year but stopped due to frustration and costs. i was planning for this year to finish the skis as a project in a class i was gonna take but ended up not taking it.

i was gonna say parlor skis but u know them and they said no so i cant help you there but i can give u some advice when it comes to making them later:

STAY STRESS FREE- it will consume you im tellig u, you become so obsessed and frustrated over one thing and makes you go berserk. keep cool and ask help. youve got a whole community to help you through it here.

Thanks man sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm hoping somebody on here can help I've actually put a lot of effort into this it would be nice to eventually build something.

There are some good threads on the topic. I'll see what I can find. I wouldn't blow him up, but if you get started and have questions or just want some brief tips maybe hit up Jlev or see if he's posted anything about it.

Thanks for the reply. I thought about talking to him so I may end up sending him an email down the road. Seems like a very friendly guy.
