heres how i do it. you knit rows of 3 stiches with 2 and 1/2 mm needles. this will be the back strap, once you hit about the armit area you add 2 stiches evry time until you get the desired height.at the top you give the yarn about 1 1/2 feet of slack or so so you make a giant loop, then knit thenext row with the giant loop still at the top. take 2 stiches off every time until you get to the bottom (3 stiches) then knit a few rows and repeat.


the big loop should go like this:
