I'd suggest the ignore route.. Ive only had to do it to one person who used to be cool, but turned into an extreme ass.. I've been ignoring him and it works pretty well. He will send me stuff like "thanks for the invite bro" the morning after we do something without him... Makes me kinda feel like a shitty flaky person but I honestly always have a bad time when he's around.
