No Skiers in the Park

How many people here ski at a resort where they don't let skiers in the park?

I do, but poach the park anyways, nit that it is really anything great anyways. And because of my actions I have had my pass yanked 3 times this year.

Just sharing my frustration...stupid shit isn't it?

^ hahaha. i havent been to place where they dont let skiiers in. ive been to places where ive been the only skiier for about every 700 snowboarders, so people might think skiiers arent allowed.

about 10 years ago we had a 'snowboarders only' halfpipe. We poached it, but i was just a ditch with snow in it, we thought it was pretty dope.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

You can't be serious this is the only place that still doesnt let skiers in? I would have thought somewhere else there would be another group of dumbasses who would let snowboarders and snowbladers in but not skiers. Anyways, here is the information:

I have tried for the past couple years to get them to change their minds. The guy who runs the mountain is straight from Austria though and believes that every skier should be a racer, which whatever, racing can be cool too.

Anyways, if you do call, tell them how you never ski at Sugar anymore and neither do your freinds because they dont allow skiers in the park and that if they did, you'd buy a pass. If they ask where you ski at instead, tell them Appalachian because they have a better park anyways and let skiers in it.

that blows, why and how can they do that? To have a successful park you need both skiers and borders. Not one or the other. Besides, skiers are better at shaping features.

d get a crew of good kids not to bring their passes and just hike the park all day. they can't boot you if its on public land (some are on state or gov etc). just rip it up until they realize what cunts they are

actually, a few years ago at sunapee, NH, they had a sign saying only snowblladers and snowboarders were allowed in the pipe
