What Size Helicoli for Pulled Out Binding?

Hi,

I pulled out my heel piece and don't have any knowledgable shops near me that I'd trust fixing it. I plan to fix it myself with helicolis following this guide on TGR ( https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-67322.html ). The one thing I'm confused on is what size helicolis should I purchase?

Bindings are STH16s if that makes a difference.

I've searched TGR and it appears to me that the helicolis required for skis are hard to come by and require special tools generally only sold to ski shops. Instead I've been looking at Binding Freedom and Quiver Killer inserts. Will these work to repair a pullout?

That's all you would basically need - so try to see if a shop near you can order it for you...

If not, I would recommend that you just plug and epoxy the holes then remount your binding back... Either you ski too hard or whoever mounted your bindings stripped the taps.

Hope this helps.. I use to be a ski tech at a shop in SoCal, and would do heli-coils every so often.
