The jumps we hit are not really big enough to do anything else, really. Do you suggest any type of hit that you could do that doesn’t really require doing some huge trick but still looks cool?

Ski urban, find some stairs at the local high school and send it. Watch Vishnu Harvest and do some new wave bullshit. Idk, get creative because your shit is lame right now.

Also maybe don't film at night too unless it adds to the appeal of the video, which it didn't in the one. When you do hit up a resort, definitely do some filming. Your stuff right now seems to be the same thing over and over again on a setup that isn't anything great (no offense). Definitely agree with trying out some urban locations. Mix it up a bit. I feel ya but a lot of people I know that ride well, and make sick edits started making pretty shit edits of meh tricks. The tricks get better and so does the editing.

so you are saying its the features that are limiting your performance? please, tell us what other sick tricks are in your wheelhouse? what is the public missing out on, because of the mediocre terrain? .

I mean you could at least learn hand drag cork 3's. there relatively easy and look pretty dope.

It's interesting to see people here talk about how nice everyone is to beginners, and then lay down some roasts whenever they post here. I'm going to try to be constructive, although I couldn't find the video.

Based on what others have said, you're skills aren't up to what people expect of film skiers. Which is fine, as long as you are making an effort to get there. I would highly recommend spending some time on the trampoline - if you don't have one, just find a gymnastics center - and start working on backflips, rodeos, etc. to improve your air sense. You can find tutorials on YouTube for almost any trick, start with the basics and then just progress into what you're interested in.

Once you think you have a grasp of how different movements feel (this will probably take at least a year) then you can start moving the skills you learned on trampoline into your skiing. You mentioned that your jump was a little small for inverts, but smaller jumps will actually teach you how to pop and tuck better than a larger one. A full second or two of airtime is plenty for a backflip, which you will probably figure out from the tramp.

What I've just detailed is an extremely simplified version of a process that took me three seasons to finish, so don't expect immediate results. Again, as long as you are progressing, no reasonable person should mock you for not being good enough.
