mitsonx2Appreciate the feedback, but yeah I noticed the liner quality difference pretty much as soon as I slipped on the C.A.S liner from technica. I loved the light weight design and all with the Hawx but it just had a very awkward feel to it, almost boxy and not anatomically correct for my foot if that makes any sense.
As far as my original post goes I guess I didn’t really specify what I was looking for, so which boot will actually be lower on the instep, shorter bootsole
Length, and lower last?
The hawx has one of the lowest and tightest insteps I've seen. Lower than the lange rx lv or my Nordica gpx.....im assuming also lower than the technica.
I'm gunna pick up the hawx 130 for my new alpine boot next season. Not too terribly worried about the liner...most stock liners suck andyways....ill throw an intuition in there if it's that bad/when I blow out the stock liner. I think that will solve the slightly less lateral stiffness anyways.
OP....any of the 130 flex high end boots are going to be a great boot....go with the one that fits the best.....that will give you the best performance rather than nitpicking details.
