We just pushed back our openig at northstar a second time. I believe we'll legit be open this next weekend though. Its like 65 right now

Yeah PC opened yesterday and has zero park features, just two ribbons on each side of the mountain, I'm definitely playing golf this weekend, gonna be 65+ in SLC too.

Damn. Yeah, hoping with the "low" temps forcasted this week we're able to put down enough to open with a decent park. At this point just opening would be sweet and any features a bonus.

It sucks but it's november and shit happens. Maybe we'll all get some damn snow in Dec

Discovery usually doesn’t get a good park til mid Dec. Hopefully we get a couple feet to speed up the process

Timberline and Meadows had 60 inches of base and in operation already until the pineapple express came through..... I think we are at like 15 inches now and waiting for more snow :(

You could build a dry slope. I built one for the summer and it works really well. Also, if you have a ice rink near you you could get their shavings and try to ride on that. Both take a lot of effort and it may not be the skiing you want but it is better than nothing.

midwest was looking like it was going to start off super strong but now it looks like the jet stream pushed bac- delaying opening for most places by probably a week or two

in Norway we have had two ok- seasons. season really didn't start before mid january. now the resort i'm working at is opening on december 2nd. and many other resorts have started to open as well.

Colorado is not getting shit right now, a few weeks ago I went up early with ski patrol and we had more snow then than now. I wonder if we might temporarily close. Also today we had record high temps for this time of year.

I thot 70 was bs but apparently correct. the website says 54" base, 123" ytd (but most melted so that makes sense). still seems like a lot
RyhanToo bad Targhee lacks the terrain.
it has some decent short pitches but I agree-- targhee is for old people, children, and dirtbags who can't budget living and skiing JH

decent base in the tetons and 4-7 inches expected today into tomorrow. JHMR was spring conditions last few days. Targhee is essentially flat idk how people can stay interested in entire seasons nvm years there, but enjoy your nearly empty mountain

Out here in the midwest it hasn't even snowed one time yet (at least where I live). It's so brutal, last year I was skiing before thanksgiving and now it's looking like it'll never snow. How are you guys coping with it?

We're trying to open friday. 3rd opening weekend attempt. Luckily kirkwood was sick yesterday. Got some pow laps in. Riding heavenly in a few. Hoping its not too rough.

I just want the season to get going even if we dont get much snow for a while. Open with just enougj is better than closed.

You guys are fucked. Have fun downloading arrow but at least you will be open....and it's cold enoughish you can blast snow again

looks line in southern Wisconsin the first week in December, on Wednesday is when the temperature is supposed to drop and when i saw the 10 day forecast for next week, after Wednesday it supposed to be a constant high of the mid-upper 20's and lows of the teens
