Replying to Skiing Senior Pics

This may sound like such a dumb idea, but I was wondering if anybody has included skiing into their high school senior pics. The normal photoshoot thing is totally against my personality and feels so awkward and skiing is what I love to do. I was wondering if it would be strange to just bring a basic dslr to the local hill and do some artsy pics of me skiing. Some basic stuff like tweaking a grab, just looking relaxed on a rail, or even just looking downhill like a fancy intro shot from a video or something. I already took some normal / typical ones where you dress up in outfits but those don’t express who I am.
