Goggle lens colours

Hey ns :)

Still looking at some new goggles and was just wondering if different colour lens’ are a big change to the conditions you should wear them in etc

Black lenses should only be used on black snow, clear lenses on clear snow, and reflective lenses on reflective snow. Hope this helps.

Honestly just buy goggles that come with extra low light lenses. They will work fine no matter the color unless they are black which means there is no yellow effect when you put them on.

The lenses are usually measured by how much light they let through. So a low light (cloudy/whiteout/night) lens might be anywhere from %60- %100 (clear). High-light (bright conditions)lens will be %60-as low as %5. It’s best to get one lens for low light and one for high light. Hope that helps
