Kite Skiing

I was looking in a kite boarding magazine today and they had some articles on kite skiing, basically kite boarding but people up in the snow riding powder twins being towed and lifted by kites. I remember seeing some snowboarders doing this a few years back but anyone given it a go on skis? Seems like you could get some big air and it would be good way to access back country?

Dude that is why it is called skiing, not kite boarding. Kite boarding in the summer is cool but super gay in the winter if you get what Im saying?

yea ^^wtf....kite boarding is sick in general, id love to see a vid of someone doing it on skis. Plus, if u live in like the barren alaskan tundra, itd be a sick way to get around

anyone seen that video where the skiier takes the modified wind surfer sail and flies like 1000 feet down a ski run, it insane.

a lot of people do it up here in minnesota. you can do it basiclaly anywhre because there is a lake every where you go

I kiteboard in the summer..but with a season pass there isn't much point in doing it during the winter...plus you can fuck yourself up and your gear..
