I am very experienced with Final Cut. I got into more of Premiere lately, I kind of prefer Final Cut. What do you prefer? Or is there any other good softwares you use?
That's assuming you use more than just premiere and have a use for compatibility between video, photo, and graphics programs. If all you do is edit video, FCPX is fine but that's about all you'll get out of Apple. What else is there, Aperture? Motion? Haven't heard of anybody using those in literally years but most production companies that aren't doing Network/Studio work run the CC suite. The big boys pretty much all run Avid but don't worry about that.
Edit: IMO the FCPX vs Premiere argument can die as soon as someone says they want more than straight up video editing. A few years ago, professionals were often split on which program they ran, but nowadays Apple's fallen too far behind and everyone's left them.
