Where did the Pivots go?

Am I going crazy or did Look Pivots just get removed from both REI and BC.com.... I'm in the market for a new pair of 14s and I have a $100 gift card at REI to cash in on but now they've mysteriously disappeared. Typically if they're sold out the website would say that but it does not show anything for them.

Look issued a recall on Pivot bindings manufactured on or after July 27th 2017. Check with your local shops to see if they have been affected or not.

Some shops in my area haven't received any of the bindings within that date range, while others will be dealing with this recall and the remounting and testing of many pairs of skis/bindings.

Thanks! That explains it. I'll be sure to keep this in mind when I visit my local shop. Hopefully these are back in stock soon or else I'll be going with Jesters.

The 18s are out of stock on Evo too. Anyone know if this affects other models such as the 12 or 14's?

You'd be better off with STH2's or Tyrolia Attacks long before going with Marker Junk.

If you're on a budget, we have lots of bindings that are cheaper than picots, including STHs, Attacks, and Wardens. You can check out all of our ski bindings.

Attacks have a far superior durability while having a lower stack height, all while being almost just as light as markers.

This is coming from being a tech in a shop that specializes in freeskiing and works on dew tour, etc. athlete's skis (i.e. the guys that push this equipment truly the hardest)

Thanks for the input. I'm about 230 lbs with all my gear on. My dins are set at 10 at the moment. I've shattered two pairs of Grffions in the past (should have never bought those) so I need something that is going to hold up through some abuse. Attack 16s should fit the bill then
