Which Big box brand skis do you think are better?

So Walmart sells skis and apparently Costco does too haha which of these do you think would actually perform better? My extremely educated deduction on what skis are better would be the Costco skis. California (where the first store opened) is way closer to mountains than hillbilly Alabama.

Lol.

1.) Walmart is not based in "hillbilly Alabama". They are based in Arkansas, which is secretly such an underrated state. The Ozarks are nothing short of incredible.

2.) Costco opened its first warehouse in Seattle, WA, and they are based just outside of Seattle today.

Yo if the costco skis are anything like wavestorms then they will be slightly indestructible, lifetime warranty, and the most drunk fun u can have with your friends

My buddy had a pair of tetons....honestly they were pretty great for the price...i think he got them with bindings for less than 200 bucks and they were a nice soft 100 underfoot ski haha. They lasted for like a year or two until he upgraded.

Durability was trash....but they were an awesome ski to learn on as any ski is going to be trashed after learning. Might as well be a 150 dollars pair and not 700. Especially when a beginner wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the first place.

i was thinking shit i'd use the Tetons in a pinch... can't be much worse than some of the Line toy noodles i used as a teenager haha

Half correct, warehouse was in Seattle but first location was in SD (not under Costco name).

Those Costco skis are $350, I was really hoping to see like a $50 price tag to cop some and do a bunch of ignorant shit with. I guess thrift stores will remain the move when it comes to cheap ass skis.

walmart kinda has a twin tip it looks like, but Cosco has a 30 pack option.

awhile back I saw a dude in a thread saying we should all send in ski sponsorship requests to Walmart just to confuse the fuck out of them... looks like we could actually be getting free skis though.. sending in my resume asap boys

Can you return the skis to costco when they break? I know there are restrictions to the lifetime satisfaction policy for electronics, but I don't think there are any for sports equipment. Might be worth getting a pair, no matter what if you don't like them or something happens you can get your money back.

There was a thread a little bit back that Steve Stepp made about starting a vlog like skiing channel. This could be a cool video idea for that, like how Braille makes videos of them skating Walmart boards.

This is actually something which could help get people into the sport.

I mean the barrier to entry for Skiing (in terms of cost) is so crazy High... I might actually really support this for getting people to give it a go.
