Earbuds for Skiing

Borderline gear talk thread, but I'm in the game for some new earbuds. I haven't ever found an earbud that fits my ears as well as the stock Apple ones, however I'm sick of them after breaking like my 4th or 5th pair now. I have tried the basic Skullcandy ones and can't stand the fit of those. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for just earbuds with no outer-ear pieces...something that would be comfortable under a hat and ski helmet.

Ive always had problems with non-apple earbuds fitting my ears properly, but found that these panasonic earbuds stay in your ear quite well and the quality is just as good as apple's.
I've never tried these but they came up on amazon and look similar to apple's shape. Could be worth it to get both of those and see which the better are, as they're quite cheap

I always loved using apple headphones for skiing because they're not noise isolating, and they are super slick an low profile so that my hat wouldn't fuck with them and pull them out of my ears like alot of headphones. Right now I'm using skullcandy Jib Wireless (trash headphones, but they were free) and they sound alright, but making the switch to wireless is a total game changer. I can only imagine how much nicer it would be to have a pair of wireless headphones with decent quality, and a good battery life. My biggest complaint is that the battery life is ass.

The Airpods work pretty nice, sound good, and have a pretty good battery. The only thing that sucks about it is the price for them but if you have an Apple device and are willing to put some money down, I’d recommend them.

I'm a samsung guy, and I also know how easy those would be to loose skiing and never see again.

I had leashes for my airpods and found them annoying so I stopped using them. I use my airpods skiing every day and have never had any issues. They never fall out and I can pause/skip with gloves on by tapping either ear twice, and I can control volume on my phone through my pants. I couldn't recommend them enough, with the only fault being that the earbuds on their own have a 2 hour battery life, and I like to ski more than 2 hours at a time, but a lift ride with them in the charging case and they're good til at least lunch. They completely mitigate the issue where you stand up straight and they get ripped out of your ears. A friend of mine lost one in the snow of his yard and when he found it in the spring, it worked fine, but I wouldn't treat them at all like they were waterproof.

It all depends on the ear buds too. If they extend outside your ear, you're gonna have a bad time. My HTC a ways back came with earbuds that looked like this and they were flush with my ears. They work great under a helmet.
