Underground outerwear brands???

So lately I have been wanting to step away from the big outerwear brands when shopping. I have a lot of SAGA and some Level 1 and shit like that, but I want to support the smaller businesses of skiing

Last year I bought this sweatshirt form freelivinsupply. It's steezy af, and the quality is great (pictured below in thread). I think I paid 35+ shipping, and I thought to myself "why am I spening 50-100 on sweatshirts of big name brands when there are smaller companies selling dope shit for way less?"

Moral of the thread, does anyone know of any other small scale clothing brands that produce the steeze? Lmk

I agree Saga and Level 1 are small(er). They're no Spyder or Columbia for sure. When I mean small I mean really small. Like sometimes my Instagram ads give me outerwear brands that I have never heard of, and I was hoping maybe someone had a good list of brands that they follow.

I tried some of their stuff a couple years ago, jacket and pants. On paper it looked amazing, great waterproofing and breathability, but I couldn't get over the fit, I was swimming in it even when I sized down. This may be a selling point for a lot of skiers though.

The way I look at it is you can tell how small Saga and level one is by seeing how often you see someone in a Saga jacket or sweatshirt off the snow. I dont think i have ever seen anyone wear saga off snow in my life other than on my skiier friends,in a ski shop, or a ski movie premier. But people who've never even seen snow wear North Face, Spyder, Columbia, etc...

Put about 4 seasons in a Homeschool setup. Burly, and great wether resistance. I put it in a bin, and could easily get a few more years in it.

I guess When I meant small, I meant small even in the skiing community. Like no I don't see non-skiiers wear Saga, but it is extremely popular on the snow.

I would consider a thick riding hoodie as outerwear. Something I would wear in place of a coat like a riding pullover would be dope.

theres still a few FD items floating around their website though haha but yeah, i would def say virtika is becoming a new saga type brand in terms of up and coming.
Thankfully, they have a lot better customer service and the quality is better

yeah i have a yoke jacket and it's fucking great. super warm and whatnot plus a great bang for your buck. sadly i don't really see anyone else rocking yoke gear.

Kids dont wear jackets anymore. It can be dumping out and i will see kids riding around with frozen hoodies.
