Hey does anyone know is Oakley is gonna make the anorak more waterproof next year.... and if not what other jackets do guys know that haave sick fur hoods?

Siver Cartel made it official this year that waterproofing is no longer cool.
Same with outerwear that keeps you warm.

^not anymore, all leading brands(oakley, siver...) supported the idea of not waterproof clothes.

oh yeah, fuck oakley. im tired of them. their shit is overpriced, under preforming (outerwear, wisdom goggles (which suck), and ugly styles. there is so much sick gear out there that noone wears. if you want SICK style, good prices, and good technical features, check out:

Quiksilver, mission 6, planet earth, volcom, special blend, sessions, ect. all of its way cooler than oakley (like 5 kids had anorak jackets at a little piss-ant resort i was at last week), WAY cheaper, and better overall. im riding a full Quiksilver getup, and im super stoked with it. really nicely made, waterproof, tough as hell, and cheap. it was under 300 for a shell, semi insulated pants, and shipping. for that stuff from oakley, it would have been over 500

I ride oakley delta pants (57 bucks) and 2x4 coat (45 bucks) and I think both have really tech features and are so warm you just wear a short sleeve shirt and shorts underneath. No complaints here but 300 for a shell? no way

shit I meant to say I hate thier new stuff too but there is plenty of the old stuff that is really good still around. For instance I just bought an impulse squared jacket off ebay, it was made in 2002 but was NWT.
Also skibrdingbitch had a pic of tanner hiking the pipe with a superwaterproof fur hooded coat that looks like it will def. be an oakley product for 06.

i love my helly jacket. one thing people overlook: mountainerring gear. it is designed to be really tough and waterproof. cloudveil makes dope stuff and is a skiing company, my solstice pants(climbing company i think) havent wet through yet, even on days where it poured from first chair to closing. there is more out there than oakley, but i just wish other companies would make some cooler colors

skiing rulz but ski clothes companies suck ass. thas y there are snowboarders ...they bring sweet companies such as /\n/\log,special blend,686,planet earth...i wear boarder company clothing cuz its wayyyy better than any ski comp.

Dont know if they are going to be sold next year either, but I really like my Oakley onepiece.

Helly Hansen's clothes are great and not that expensive as most of oakley's high end stuff.

i have oakley lab2.0 pants (60bucks) and some oakley coat, no idea what it is but it was 150cdn. both are warm as hell and keep me dry. i used the coat as a rain coat the one day and it never got through.

just dont pay retail for the oakley shit and your fine. my shit was ebay and winners bought and is quite stylie looking (no fur hoods or that shit, just looks good)

oakley is definatly one of the most pregrissive brands out there and if you think they focuse to much on style then you are an earth muffin with your helly hanson skiin powder while i'm in the park throwin swich cork 5's it's jsut a matter of i like style and you dont.

and next year sivers stuff is going to be more waterproof, it'll be like 5000 instead of 3000

next years Siver is like 8000 waterproof, you dont need more than that, and i think that Helly Hansen is only like 10000 right? Siver all the way... o and the Puffy directly from Siver ($220) is cheaper than Oakley, plus the Raven and 10-4 are cheaper and Oakley still has no waterproofing...
