I'm a beginner in the park. I can do 180's, 360's, backfilps, grabs, learning 270 outs. I'm looking to do mostly park but a little pow. I'm considering price a little because I can get the Tigersnakes for half the price. What would you guys recommend.

I love my chronics, but for half the price, I'd take the tigersnakes any day. The chronics will be a bit better in pow (they're wider). However if you want to hit some powder in your park skis you should probably go a little wider (think blends or any other 100mm underfoot ski).

^ that last comment is the non-constructive feedback you should filter through. If the price is the main driver certainly go with the Tigersnake but the Chronic's construction (as well as the price as you see) is certainly a better ski for all terrain and freestyle. Best of luck! thanks! -j

I have a pair of Chronics from 2012 that in my better seasons saw 25+ days of park and rails and they're still going strong. I use them as my rock skis now but no major damage or edges missing and I've ridden them super hard. Overall, a truly great ski and impressive construction to last this long. I would definitely ride them more but the mount on them was for a smaller boot that I've since grown out of and the bindings themselves are hurting quite a bit.
