slush8The slopestyle course looks so sick. Can't wait to see what people come up with.
Its pretty class that a niche sport gets shown on the world stage. Other than ice hockey, pipe and slopestyle are the most entertaining winter sports to watch.
For future olympics;
Expect/want
Balanced scoring where creativity and skill are rewarded
More freedom, less rules
Creative courses
Big jumps
Free streaming or full event replay online
Competitive field - anyone can win if they put down a class run
Increased interest in the sport worldwide especially Asia. Would be cool to have an Xgames in Japan
More money put into ski companies and pro- skiers from advertisers due to new people joining the sport
toasdedI would love to see Big mountain/freeride skiing in the Olympics, but it severely limits the places in the world where they can be held. Which on a side not is why I’m surprised they added surfing for the summer games, is it going to be a wave pool? Or only places with ocean? Anyway I think Big mountain skiing would be too hard to accommodate.

L.WattsYou're stupid, they already have wind surfing and sailing in the Olympics and London isn't near the sea 😂
2.0i think every olympics has a couple of events that are only in it for that olympics. ie skateboarding was added recently for rio or maybe for the next one in seoul? edit: i mean tokyo

toasdedOh ok, well then surfing, skating, and baseball might be one and done in Tokyo? If that’s the case maybe they do big mountain if they host the Olympics in like interior BC or Alaska? That would be rad
2.0there will never be a big ski resort in alaska, i don't think we'll see a winter olympics there.
