7 Springs Opening day 2017

Anyone have a good guess on when they’re gonna open? They started blowing snow at full force early Friday morning and continue to. I think they’re gonna blow through the rest of today and into tomorrow morning around 9 ish. With the given snowmaking hours, what day should this set us up for?

I think it will depend on how cold it gets tonight. They easily could throw some features down sunday but I don’t know if they will want to do that with it being so early and the mild weather coming next week. If it were december, i would almost put money on them doing something.

Last year i think they opened at like the end of November I'm hoping they either open then or earlier

I was guessing that they would continue their tradition of opening on Black Friday, but I could honestly see them opening a week or so earlier if temps cooperate. Next weekend looks pretty good. Honestly kinda jealous

Did you see the mtn cams? With that amount of snow already made would they be able to open this Friday or would they just wait till thanksgiving?

a lot of it is white dust and it is going to rain a good amount this week

I doubt it, according to the weather there will be no more snowmaking opportunities at springs until next friday night

They've opened with less than 30 hours of snowmaking, 60 degree temps, and rain. After the 15/16 season I'm convinced they can pull anything off
