Smith Maze vs. Giro Combyn

Current have a Smith Holt and even with the ear pads taken out it’s one of my least fav helmets ever. it looks like a giant orb on my head or like a mushroom like Toad from Mario Kart.
Thinking about getting a smith maze or giro combyn. both are low profile i think and i want to wear my goggles under the helmet and maybe a beanie depending on if it’s cold enough.
which should i buy? smith maze or giro combyn (i ride with smith goggles)

Both are great helmets, but a helmet is only good if it fits. So I would pick the one that fits you better... if you can't try them on, I'd say Smith and Smith sounds like a good combination.

the combyn takes multiple big impacts which should be something to consider. I had either a maze or a holt, i think a holt and the giro feels much more solid. I would actually pay the $120 for it.

IMO, Giros are not that low profile and pretty heavy, but it really comes down to which one fits better.

ended up with a giro ledge just because it has the same aesthetics as the combyn and I got it for half the price and don’t mind the hardshell
