All mountain skis for an underweight skiier

Been looking for new skis for awhile now and still at a loss of what to get. From my understanding overly stiff skis, ski like shit for light riders. Is that wrong? I do intend to demo as many of these skis as possible before I buy.

I will mainly be skiing Aspen and Telluride with hopefully a couple trips out to Utah.
I am 5'11 and weigh 130 pounds.

My budget is $700 w/o bindings.
I'm looking for something between 100-110 underfoot. I've been looking at the Meridian's, Kartel 108's, and jskis. The vacations look like a fun ski but i'm not sure how they would hold up charging down Highland bowl.

5'11 and 130lbs..... i mean i really wanna make fun of you but id feel real bad lmao. Lmao foreal tho having super stiff ski boots is probably worse than having stiff skis. That being said having slightly softer skis will feel better. On3p might be a little on the stiff side. The line blends might be good to look at. Lasts years with the joy division graphic are really sick too lmao. Good luck.

I kinda want to start drinking protein shakes everyday just to gain weight but I think I would end up being a fat, piece of shit. The blends look like a super fun ski and top sheet on those are sick. Is there any difference between last years model and this years?

The Kartel 108 is a fucking fun as ski and would be a really good everyday ski and width for CO. The Kartel is stiff underfoot, but softer in the tip and tail. They dont feel stiff when skiing and are quite playful. Stiffness underfoot helps them rip hardpack really well.

I’m about the same size and I ski J skis the metal. They are a mens ski but in the middle when it comes to stifness and they are perfect. Not too soft so you can bomb through stuff but not too stiff so buttering comes with ease.

yeah since you're "underweight" i'd suggest you get something on the softer side of the flex spectrum, and err to the shorter side (though not by much, esp if youre a good skier and want good soft snow performance) rather than the longer side. otherwise, don't overthink it too much. most of us are pretty scrawny compared to the next sport haha

"underweight" = dying. Like wth I weigh 40-50lbs more depending on if I'm a little overweight at the time and I'm never even close to fat. I'm the same height. Hopefully dude gained some weight since he posted this because that's crazy to me. I feel bad.

Yeah I almost hit 140 and then I had a bad depression episode and dropped under 130 without realizing. I'm working my way back up again. Im not anorexic (I look like it) or anything like that, I just don't like to stuff myself with food.

if it makes you feel any better a bunch of pros that I saw around SLC are super skinny dudes, I'm also a bean pole at 188cm and ~ 72 kg

The skis you listed are all what I'd describe as moderately stiff playful all mtn skis. Certainly not chargers but all are solid choices for a more playful/freestyle oriented Colorado skier's 1 ski quiver. For something more chargey I'd recommend Blizzard Cochise, Nordica Enforcer 110 or Enforcer pro, or Moment Commander.
