ipods turning off

so whenever my brother uses my ipod, it turns off mid song shortly there after. everytime he touches it. what on earth could cause this?

Apple makes many faulty iPods, there computers are great, but the iPod is produced faster than it should be, and therefore doesnt go through proper testing procedures.

Runs out of battery? Some of the 3rd gen ones... if they were even touched theyd start playing a song. Put it on hold, shouldnt have a problem.

no it turns of as if id hold down the play/pause button. it comes back on fine and everything.

ipods are so overrated. everyone wants one. apple makes really good shit, but ipods are not that great. get a dell dj or a creative zen touch. but about the turning off, check you settings, you mich have your idle shut off way too low
