SNOW-MAKING at Northstar???

Hey guys, 3rd year living in Norcal. I purchased the Tahoe Local pass and I've been told that Northstar has the best snow-making (projected to open next Friday. Can anyone tell me how much of the mountain, which sides and which runs do they blow snow on? There is nothing specifically on-line that talks about this. And if possible, please advise the same on Heavenly and Kirkwood.

I havent gotten an answer for my thread about this either but have been around Tahoe my whole life and would have to say that heavenly by far has the best snowmaking around mostly because they get such cruddy snow that they have to do a ton of snow making. Northstar gets better snow, and along with still pretty awesome snow making. Their opening day was just pushed back to thanksgiving day, and heavenly is still openin this Friday. If you want the best skiing in all of tahoe you should go to Kirkwood, they get the absolute best snow in Tahoe but won’t be open till next Wednesday (11/22)

Hey Nate, thanks for responding to this. I keep getting mixed reviews about which is which regarding who has the better snow-making. You still living in Tahoe? Do you know if there is a good whether prediction source for up-coming snow?
