Anorak style jackets?

Looking to buy an anorak for my jacket this year. And it seems like its kind of hard to find one with good specs. I know saga makes one, armada has some but theyre kinda out of my price range and ive heard that bloom is coming out with one? Hopin to see what theyve cooked up this season. But do you guys know anymore brands that make a solid anorak style jacket?

Hey Chubz,

Yeah, we've been cooking up a new anorak style of jacket, which we will be releasing this month. It will only be available in solid colorways (no two tones), features a 15K rating, has a huge pocket and a custom liner print, which we are PUMPED on. Will be at a more affordable price point compared to Saga.

Here is a preview of our bib pant, which uses the same colors, fabrics, and liners as the anorak

I like Bloom. If you don't need it now, check out the Bloom. They make good stuff at good prices.

i think yoke might have one too, but it's probably more expensive than the Bloom

WearColour makes one, that looks awesome if you're into the style:

Bump. Looking for one of these for next year in a darker color (black, dark blue, etc.), but Bloom is all sold out. Was thinking of getting just a big LL Bean one and using it as a shell? Just not sure if they're waterproof enough..

LL bean makes nice shit, I never got a bloom one..I did buy a Patagonia torentshell and that was bomb to use as a shell. Waterproofing is all time

Patagucci one looks nice. If I can find one in black in the right size I might have to cop.

what size did you get/how tall are you? I’m 5’8 and would want it to cover my bum, thinking XL? But patagucci doesn’t really make “tall” fitting clothes..

oh the struggle of wanting a nice anorak that doesn’t look dorky on my gangly 5’8” body...

I got a xxl and I can wear it casually, it’s kinda baggy on me but I’m obviously a bigger dude.

If you’re looking for that like classic baggy (but not henrik) look I’d buy an xxl especially if you’re layering under it. It’s a shell, I’m 6’ and it goes like 3 to 4 inches under my waist, doesn’t cover my ass like my ski jacket does so I would assume it would fit you how you want it considering I’m 4 inches taller than you.

Could always buy the beaner and hit it with a waterproofing spray!

Yeah, but it would be nice to have something that’s just straight up waterproof. I wonder how often I would need to spray it..

I just checked their website and its not there anymore, but level 1 used to sell an anorak jacket. It was the saga crossover. I have it in red and it's what made me fall in love with level 1 and saga. Super good for the price. You can probably find it online somewhere.

yeah the pattern isn't my cup of tea ,i would go with the black and olive colour personally. might be worth hunting down next years look book and checking out what colours they'll release it in next season if your happy to wait
